EMERGENCY SERVICES Emergency Services are available during regular business hours by calling ACCESS-GRN. However, since emergencies occur anytime, a mental health professional with psychiatric backup is always available by calling 770-985-2494. Emergency face-to-face crisis evaluation services are provided at Gwinnett Medical Center, Rockdale Hospital and Newton General Hospital. Other emergency services may include crisis telephone counseling, problem solving, support and referrals. Individuals needing 24-hour residential care are served at the GRN residential programs in Snellville. If hospital services are needed, they are provided by private or state hospitals. If acute treatment is not recommended, referral will be made to a GRN outpatient center or other public/private provider.
