Developmental Services

Developmental Services assists individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest level of skill development, independence and health while enhancing their self-esteem and dignity.

Assessment and crisis intervention services are available in each of the outpatient centers.  An evaluation team of professional staff members assists individuals and family members in addressing their needs.

Individuals enrolled in day services may choose to participate in supported employment opportunities.  Employment opportunities are provided in the service center and in the community. Day Habilitation is for individuals who have personal skill deficits that limit their ability to perform in a work environment.  Their training focuses on pre-vocational activities, daily living skills, and interpersonal/social skills.

The Residential Services Program offers residential services in staffed group residences.  This program offers individuals a comfortable and safe environment for learning a variety of skills.  Personal Support Services are generally provided in settings that require less than 24-hour supervision and are based on individual needs.
