Q. How do I get an appointment at GRN Community Service Board?
A. Call Access GRN for 24-Hour Access to Care at 770-962-5544.
Q. What do I need to bring on my first appointment
A. Bring your Social Security card, Driver's License, proof of address, proof of income, Medicaid or Medicare card and verification of lawful presence in the U.S.

Q. Is GRN a private agency?
A. No, GRN Community Service Board is a public agency created by state law to provide mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive diseases services.
Q. Will there be a fee for the services I receive?
A. Yes. GRN fees are established by the State of Georgia on a sliding scale based on family size and amount of income.See our Agency Fees page.
Q. What insurance does GRN accept?
A. GRN accepts Georgia Medicaid, Georgia Medicaid CMO's (Magellan, Cenpatico and Amerigroup), Medicare and Self-Payment. Your GRN clinician must be a designated Medicare provider.
Q. When is my payment due?
A. Payment is due at time of service.
Q. The court ordered me to receive services. Will the court pay for my care?
A. Under most circumstances, you are required to pay for services ordered by the court. If you have questions, please contact the court.
Q. Where will I get my medications?
A. GRN provides limited pharmacy services at some sites. GRN fees are established by the State of Georgia on a sliding scale based on family size and amount of income. See Agency Fees.

Q. What if I have a concern or want to make a complaint?
A. If you feel that any of your rights have been violated or denied, please take the following steps:

  1. Talk with your service coordinator to discuss your concerns for a solution.
  2. If you cannot reach a solution with your service coordinator, or if you do not feel comfortable talking with him/her about your concerns, ask to speak to his/her supervisor or to the director of the program.
  3. If your concern/complaint has still not been resolved, then you may wish to file a formal complaint with the Consumer Rights Representative through the Executive Director's Office at 770-339-5090.
