COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES
(For Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)


Community Support Services assists individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest level of skill development, independence and health while enhancing their self-esteem and dignity.
 
Residential Services
Residential services provide supports to developmentally disabled adults to live in their community. Services include staffed facilities and personal supports.
 
Independent Enterprises
Under the New Options Waiver (NOW) and Comprehensive Supports Waiver Program (COMP), Independent Enterprises provides community access and prevocational services. The goal is to provide individuals with the information and training which will foster self-sufficiency and allow the individual to be included in their community to the degree they desire. Using the principles of person-centered planning, services are delivered according to the individual service plan in group and individual, center-based and community settings.
