VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

GRN CSB has volunteer opportunities in its Lawrenceville Mental Health Center for persons to assist front desk staff with consumers appearing for services and making appointments. Weekday shifts can be tailored to your available hours.

    The front desk volunteers have the following responsibilities:

  • Greet consumers courteously. Determine the nature of their business and direct them to the appropriate staff or department for assistance.

  • Respond to routine questions, requests or needs of the consumer.

  • Arrange the brochures/forms room and files for easy access and visibility.

  • Respond to telephone calls in a courteous manner and forward calls to appropriate parties.

  • Maintain confidentiality with respect to any personal and financial information disclosed to them.

Volunteers may qualify with any combination of training and experience which demonstrates their ability to perform these functions. Customer service with diverse populations preferred.
